Job satisfaction

Mr. Nguyen Tuan – a famous Vietnamese writer in the twentieth century wrote: “Most people can become an artist if they know how to do their job as art”. The satisfaction at work and factors that contribute to it may be started by this. This essay will discuss job satisfaction and elements that influence it in more detail.

There are a lot of different opinions about satisfaction at work such as high salary, suitability of abilities, promotion possibilities, work environment or sense of purpose. Some times, it is only a hobby that everybody want to be done in their lives. However, many people feel really bored about their job because of competition or they have a simple job and they are always ready to change their job. By doing this, they hope they will become more active and find out much more happiness in their job.

Although, getting job satisfaction is difficult to carry out by unskilled people or someone who has responsibility to their family so much in earning money. These people are always limited in creation at work and they usually find it difficult to have achievement in life and the career. The location sometimes also influences their quality of work and their choice such as the shortage of equipment or high – quality labour. As a result, the satisfaction at work is very far from the fact that workers can not only spend their heart and brain to work without thinking of their family or the salary. That is when they have less achievement because of limitation of choice.

In conclusion, the expectation of job satisfaction is unrealistic. It depends on our attitudes without having limitations. The factors which impact on satisfaction are diffirent in each view or job. Do not run to satisfaction as a goal and let it do a job as an artist who works by his heart is my advice.
